From 1000 Special Tulips from Holland to 20,000 Red Roses to 1000 Hydrangea flowers from Ecuador- the ship looked no less than a living dream.

The most awaited cruise wedding of the year of the Dubai Based Danube Group businessman Rizwan Sajan’s son Adel Sajan with former beauty queen Sana Khan took place across the European Destinations with utmost pomp and grandeur setting itself as one of the most expensive weddings in the world, organised by Wedniksha.

The four day international Cruise Liner set sail from Genoa to Barcelona to Marseilles to Cannes and back to Savona capturing the charming beauty of the European sea with more than a 1000 guests and some of the most renowned Bollywood stars joining on board to celebrate the special day of the Danube couple. Starting with a specially designed “Dil Dhadakne Do” ship moduled wedding invite with a boarding pass styled itinerary , the Bollywood themed wedding was designed with themes for every occasion on the voyage.

A retro night to a desi baraat and a white party, the wedding curated by India’s top wedding planners Wedniksha hosted a bouquet of never seen before extravaganza. The cruise started with a performance by local Batacuda drummers of Barcelona and Stilt artists followed by a grand welcome to the guests on board. To create an experience, the guests were greeted with a customized Harrods Hampers from London welcoming them in their respective rooms. Every room were in fact decorated with exquisite flowers on all four days accenting the romance of the Danube ship of love.

Exclusive wedding collaterals like the D&D Doorknob, Keycards, Coasters, and Paper Napkins, Fruit platters, welcome flowers and beautiful towels were also created adding the beauty on the cruise amidst the sea.

Encompassing the Conceptualization, ideation, hospitality, logistics and execution, Wedniksha recreated a whole new world for Danube Wedding with extraordinary themes, décor, designs, activities and much more. More than 2 tons of flowers flew from across the world to decorate the cruise for the wedding. From 1000 Special Tulips from Holland to 20,000 Red Roses to 1000 Hydrangea flowers from Ecuador- the ship looked no less than a living dream. Serving a cruise of more than 1000 guests, the ship hosted best of 75 chefs from India with an extravagant menu from delicacies across the world over the four days onboard. A traditional banana leaves lunch was also organized for the guests highlighting the ancient Indian culture adding an unimaginable experience for the wedding on a cruise. A 13 tired, 3.5 meter towering wedding cake for Adel and Sana was also designed for the white party by Italy’s top cake maker and Michelin-star Chef Fabio Cucchelli. Keeping the celebrations going round the clock, the wedding hosted 5 different bars serving the best and the most expensive liquor across the globe.In addition, a team of 42 beauticians and hair specialists were flown for makeovers of the guests as per the themes along with a 6 people team for tying turbans for the baraat ceremony.

The brilliance of the wedding was also complimented by a glamorous guest list of B-Town divas and superstars like Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Shamita Shetty, Dia Mirza, Juhi Chawla, Sushmita Sen, Malaika Arora, Gauahar Khan, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Rohit Roy,Gurmeet and Debina and many more. Adding the desi tadka to the wedding were Rapper Badshah, Superhit Duo Vishal Shekhar and Meet Bros who kept the party rolling with their mind-blowing performances and songs.

Adel and Sana too led the wedding into a whole new level of exhilarating festivity with their jaw dropping entries and stunning trousseau. While Sana charmed the guests in a spectacular skirt mapping show, Adel engaged the audience with his interactive LED dance. The Trousseau for the Bride and Groom was designed under the stylized guidance of Neeta Lulla who dressed the newlyweds as the prince and princess of the Danube Throne with some of the most charming outfits. Making the wedding a one of a kind experience, Wedniksha also put together an incredible Baraat for Adel over the decks with the first ever Water Rocket for the Baraat ceremony and Synchronized swimmers’ show for the Gala Night giving Adel an extravagant entry for the Baraat ceremony. Sana too stole the show on the Gala Night with her specially designed White Glowing Dress by Neeta Lulla. Encapsulating the entire four day extravaganza were wedding photographers Badal Raja Company who captured every moments, every emotions and every sentiment of the wedding to make the wedding a precious timeless experience for everyone.
